Norm Coghlan has been selling camping equipment for over 45 years. Coghlan mainly sold these items to hardware markets. In 1959, Coghlan bought a small depot in Winnipeg and operated as a private company. He expanded his camping equipment to included tents, sleeping bags and air mattresses.
Coghlan visited with many of his customers and found that they wanted a way to be able to make toast on their camping stove. Coghlan's has continued to grow in the camping equipment market and is currently successful.
