Ratings & Reviews: Smartwool Adrenaline Light Crew Sport Sock
Merino Wool is the Bomb, 3/22/2007 Reviewer: Carl (Oklahoma City, OK)
Not to overstate it but I'm really liking merino wool for base layers. Wool's natural wicking capabilities and odor-control is just better than the high-tech polyesters. I switched socks from Thorlo, underwear from Patagonia and tee shirts from North Face. From a kid of the 70's when wool was itchy, the new merino wool works great out in the backcountry for me.
Smartwool is still champ, 4/23/2007 Reviewer: Carl (Oklahoma City, OK)
I've gone through alot a brands of socks looking for the best deal for the money. And although Smartwool socks tend to me be more expensive than their competitors, the performance and the quality makes Smartwool socks the best for backpacking, camping and hiking.
It's Smartwool or Nothing!, 7/6/2008 Reviewer: Scott (Arroyo Grande, CA)
The Adrenaline Light is tihnner and more breathable than my other favorite, the Hiking Light sock, but barely gives up any of the cushion feel for your feet. They are the ultimate sock. I have all of the original Smartwools I bought 6 years ago and I honestly can't tell them apart from the ones I bought last winter. Amazing! Well worth the money when you think long term.
