Incredible product. I spend around 20 nights a year sleeping on the ground in all seasons. I have been using the same Thermarest full length pad for around 25 years. This past year, I have not rested well due to just getting older and spent a misable 7 days in the high Rockies in June. I needed a thicker pad. The downmat is very pricey but extremely well made. It is about the weight of my old Thermarest, folds into the size of a small down bag and is easy to pack inside of my pack. The stuff sack is easy to operate and does make a decent pillow with my fleece jacket stuffed into it. Just came back from a week long trip into the Boundary Waters Wilderness Canoe Area Wilderness where you often sleep on granite slabs. My back never hurt. I was able to sleep directly on the pad and just use my down bag as a comforter. What a trip. The price and service from Moab is not beat by anyone. If you are starting to second guess nights out in the wild because of age, weight or a sore back, this product could help you keep going. I love it.
