Its hard to separate this particular sock from any of the others in my SmartWool collection. I now have different styles of SmartWool socks for all my needs: on-the-trail; in-the-gym; walking-about-town. Once you've experienced SmartWool, there's no going back (to cotton or other blends)!! I use the Adrenaline Light Micro in my casual sneakers (where I don't need much padding) and for flat-surface walking exercise. I go one step up in the Adrenaline line for harder workouts (low cut style but with more cushion) and for hikes (the longer and thicker crew style). The extra cost of SmartWool has been worth it to me; I slowly replaced all of the socks in my sock drawer. And Moab's prices can't be beat.

I live in these socks. They provide wonderful arch support and just the right amount of cushioning on the forefoot. Whatever I am doing (between running and lounging around)these SmartWools are the perfect sock to do it in.
