I camp and hike with our Boy Scout Troop. Being one that has to carry a pack,sleep, alone and have to fend for myself I needed a light compact tent. This fits the bill just right. Even tho I don't like small places, I can sleep with one end open and still do just fine. I was able to get my,pack,mat and myslef in and still have room to sleep and keep everything dry.

I recently used the solo tent for a scouting backing trip into the wilderness area. The 2.2 lbs was great!! Temperatures were in the low 20s at night but the tent offered great wind protection and contained some heat. The drawback was condincation. Being so small,any movment would cause moisture to fall. Over all the ease of setup, weight, and great looks made for a great experiance for this 50 year old.
