Bought this to replace our old family tent, a Coleman of similar design but fiberglass poles. This tent is of much better quality in design and stronger poles. Easy to setup and better rain protection with the fly overhang. Also it is lighter to carry and setup. We've used it about 4 times so far, no really bad weather, but we have used smaller Kelty backpack tents for years with no problems, so we expect the extra features of this above the base design of 6 person tents to pay off over time. This tent was a great value for the on-sale price. The aluminum poles make all the difference with a good tent. The inside height is taller than the dimensions noted and the construction is very good. I made a couple of nylon loops to take the stress of the awning poles off the zippers. Other than the zipper tension - great tent.
