Good value 4 season tent, 8/26/2006

This is a one-man easy pitch tent as advertised. All mesh covered openings can be zipped up to prevent draft. The tent is spacious for 3 but slightly tight for 4. At $214 after discounts, I am not complaining. It's a very good 3 season tent and a so-so 4 season for the price of a good 3 season. This tent is well suited for car camping. For backpackers, splitting the load would help.

Only used a few times here in florida. Worked great. Taller than most tents I've seen. Everyone I went camping with checked it out as it looked different. My friend had another Kelty and wished he had gottent this one as you don't need the fly to keep dry. Great ceiling window that can close and stays dry. Not sure about heavy rain or cold but am happy with so far.
