Light weight, very comfortable. I don't immediately take them off when I get home. I also have them in the higher boot, Magnum II. They're also super! The II (magnum and midnite) is an improved sole from the original model (which is also a great shoe). I've seen on other sites that some women find them 'wider and longer' than the size - not true for sz 9/ 40. They do have some room in the box, but that allows for thicker socks in cold weather. Sole is extremely flexible. Rub mink oil into them and they'll be waterproof. Surface will be tacky for a couple of days but then they'll also be softer. Polish the next week (allow the oil to soak in).
