NikWax was recommended to me by my brother, an Eagle Scout. It is amazing! It repels water perfectly, but does need to be reapplied often (weekly) if your boots get wet on a daily basis, like mine. My boots did get a little darker after using NikWax, but I was fine with that. It is very easy to apply, and absorbs into the leather practically overnight. I've found that the first application requires a heavier dosage, but subsequent applications can be lighter. Overall, it's the best leather water-proofer that I have found yet!
