Seems well made, but concerned about the backing behind the eyelets for the laces, just a thin extra piece of fabric right behind the sew area only. Hopefully will be durable. And made in China, not Canada.
Walking up the road (15% grade and slick where snow has been packed with vehicle traffic), it seems a little bit more slippery than my old Caribou II's with same tread pattern, but is fine in loose snow. Perhaps it is because they are new, and not due to a rubber difference.
Easy slip on and off and nice high cuffs. Appears to be a good boot.
