Big Agnes REM sleep pads are designed to provide years of comfortable nights in the backcountry. Our air chamber pads have gained a huge following due to their light weight and small packed size. Insulated Air Core pads – winner of the prestigious Editor’s Choice Award from Backpacker magazine in 2004 – take the best features of our popular Air Core and add PrimaLoft™ synthetic insulation to create the ultimate air chamber pad. Two Track pads are constructed using a lightweight die cut foam core.

DESIGN FEATURES:

Full length 2.5" thick pad that is lightweight and packs small
The I-beam construction technique is functionally superior to the typical welded-through construction of other air mats. Die cut holes in each I-beam allow air to flow freely between chambers as you move around for constant support and comfort.
I-beam construction makes inflation quick and easy
Packs down to a compact 4" x 8" or 4.5" x 8" size
Durable 70 denier nylon fabric top and bottom protects against abrasions and punctures
Durable, water repellent (DWR) coating sheds water and stains
Internal polyurethane (PU) coating makes pad waterproof
Non breakable brass valve seals tight due to its fine threading
Brass valve has exclusive Dual Spin feature for easy closure during inflation

Use a closed cell foam pad with any of our Air Core Pads for extra insulation, especially when camping on frozen ground, snow or cold rock. The foam pad provides a barrier against the cold from the ground.
