High-density padding for extra protection in soft bindings. Extra high- density pad for added heel security on aggressive toe-side turns. High-density pad allows boot to snug closer. High-density pad provides longer wear, extra warmth, and extra cushioning to make big landings more forgiving. Spandex holds top up and prevents it from creeping down and bunching up. Low-density pad protects against abrasion and pressure from boot. Low-density pad protects against the top strap pressure of harness-style bindings, shortened instep conforms to natural stance in the boot.
